Elvahuihui is widely considered the Jazz Queen of China. She learned piano, guitar and composition at an early age, turned towards jazz on stage at age 15, recorded theme songs for TV shows In 2006, she went to Beijing, performed in wide-ranging collaborations with such luminaries as Kong Hongwei, Qin Sifeng, Masato Honda and Dee Dee Bridgewater. In 2012, she took part in the first season of The Voice of China, eventually became Top 8 finalists and won Dazzling Charisma Award. In 2017, she created a whole new music style with strong individual characteristics tinged with electronic, classical music and jazz. She has been invited by the Province of British Columbia and the City of New Westminster to visit and perform in Canada several times, and received government commendation 3 times. Her new album Stop, Never is also supported by the Queen of Denmark.
